What is a master?
The master is the copyright in a particular sound recording. The song or composition recorded in it is a separate work.

What do the percentages mean?
They describe ownership of the sound recording master: your share and URS’s share. They do not describe a royalty or revenue split.

Does uploading transfer ownership?
No. Uploading music or video to URS does not itself transfer master ownership. Any ownership change needs a separate written agreement signed by the rights owner.
